Risa Hoag to Receive the Prestigious Lillian Vernon Award Nov 11

​Risa Hoag, President of GMG Public Relations Inc., is the 2019 winner of the prestigious Lillian Vernon Award for Community Service.

Risa Hoag, President of GMG Public Relations Inc., is the 2019 winner of the prestigious Lillian Vernon Award for Community Service. The award will be presented by the Women’s Enterprise Development Center (WEDC) at its annual Networking Event to be held Monday, November 11, 2019 from 6:30-8:30pm at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Tarrytown, NY where attendees will have the opportunity to network and to hear Risa Hoag speak. Hoag has owned GMG Public Relations since 1991 and still serves several of her original clients. She is currently the President of the Rockland Business Women’s Network (RBWN) which is celebrating its 40th Anniversary on December 5, 2019. Ms. Hoag is a co-founder of the Nanuet Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as Vice President, and also co-founded the Chamber Alliance of Rockland. She serves on the Board of Meals on Wheels in Rockland where she is spearheading their second annual Cornucopia Gala, a concept she developed. She sits on the advisory council for Volunteer New York and is a member of the 2018 Class of Leadership Rockland. Ms. Hoag also served on the Board of the Westchester Association of Women Business Owners for over 15 years and twice received the organization’s President’s Award.
