CBC Offers Social Anxiety Series for Teens and Young Adults; 12 Week Sessions Begin October 7th
Cognitive and Behavioral Consultants (CBC), a leading Westchester and Manhattan-based clinical and wellness center, is offering a spring social anxiety group for teens and young adults.
“Many young people struggle in social situations which can lead to loneliness and feeling disconnected from their peers,” says Dr. Casey O’Brien, CBC Director of Group Programming. “Research shows that they can benefit from psychoeducation, exposure therapy, and cognitive restructuring skills in a group format, which may be just as or more effective than in individual therapy.”
