District leaders look to stay under state tax cap.
White Plains school officials will once again delve into the district's 2013-14 budget Monday night, eyeing ways to minimize cuts while still remaining under Gov. Andrew Cuomo's two-percent tax cap.
The district is aiming to slash about $2 million in spending.
One option is cutting back librarians' hours in the city's elementary schools, officials have said.
