Vehicle Fire On I-287 Causing Traffic Troubles Friday
The traffic tie-up will last until further notice, authorities said.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — A vehicle on fire is causing traffic troubles on the eastbound I-287-Cross Westchester Expressway Friday. According to 511ny.org., all lanes are blocked between Exit 6 (I-287)-Broadway (Rt. 22) and Exit 7 (I-287) - Central Westchester Parkway North.
The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m.
There is no estimate when it will be cleared.

Authorities are also reporting slow traffic and stopped traffic on I-287-Cross Westchester Expressway eastbound from after Exit 3 (I-287)-Sprain Brook Parkway to before Exit 7 (I-287) - Central Westchester Parkway North until further notice.
