Westchester County Beaches Set To Open
The beaches will only be open weekends for a month.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — With the arrival of Memorial Day weekend, Westchester County is getting ready to reopen its beaches.
County pools and even Playland Park will soon follow.
County Executive George Latimer said at recent news briefing that the beaches at Playland and Croton Point will open for weekends only beginning Memorial Day weekend. The hours are 10 a..m to 6:30 p.m.

The weekend-only schedule will last through June.
The beach at Glen Island Park is still closed because the state is operating a coronavirus testing facility.

County pools, with the exception of Playland's pool, will open seven days a week beginning June 25 through the summer.
Playland's pool will be closed for construction through the entire summer.
Playland Park will reopen June 26 and operate through Labor Day weekend. It will be open Wednesday through Sunday as well as Monday, July 5 and Monday, Sept. 6
