Westchester Offering Free ParaTransit Rides To Vaccinations
Seniors and people who are disabled who need a ride to get vaccinated can make a reservation.
WHITE PLAINS, NY — Any Westchester County resident who is a senior or is disabled and needs help getting to a location where they can receive a vaccination for the new coronavirus can arrange for a free ride with ParaTransit.
County Executive George Latimer said they do not have to be registered with ParaTransit to get a ride to a vaccination appointment.
After they secure an appointment for the vaccine, they should call ParaTransit reservations at 914-995-7272 24 hours prior to the appointment.
