Westchester Releases List Of Vaccine Allocations For Week 16

Here is where vaccine doses have been sent for the week in Westchester County.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — The Westchester County Department of Health released its allocation of coronavirus vaccine for the week of March 29, the 16th week of distribution.

Westchester will be getting 13,970 doses, down from the previous week's 17,960 doses.

Many doses of the vaccine are allocated to health centers, retail sites and physicians' offices.

Hospitals are charged with vaccinating healthcare workers, and county health departments are responsible for getting the vaccine into the arms of essential workers.

New Yorkers 30 and older will be eligible to receive the coronavirus vaccine starting Tuesday, and residents who are 16 and older will be eligible as of April 6.
