Westchester Releases Vaccine Allocations List For Week 11

Here is where vaccine doses have been sent for the week in Westchester County.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — The Westchester County Department of Health released its allocation of coronavirus vaccine Tuesday for the 11th week of distribution.

Westchester will be getting 7,200 doses, many of which are allocated to retail sites, which will be vaccinating residents who are 65 and older. This week's number is up from 5,900 from week 10.

Hospitals are charged with vaccinating healthcare workers, and county health departments are responsible for getting the vaccine into the arms of essential workers.

Prior to setting up an appointment, you should determine your eligibility for the vaccination. Remember that an appointment is required. If you visit a location without an appointment, you will not receive a vaccination, county officials said.
