Westchester Teens Participate in UJA Collection Drive

Thousands of Pounds of Products Collected for Westchester Residents in Need

Nearly 200 Westchester teens participated in a UJA-Federation of New York collection drive on April 18, 2021, in which thousands of pounds of supplies were collected for community members in need. The items, including clothing, sneakers, books, toiletries, baby supplies, baked goods, bagged lunches, period products, and care packages, were donated to various local nonprofits.

The drive was part of UJA’s J-Teen Leadership's observance of J-Serve, the International Day of Jewish Youth Service. J-Teen Leadership empowers and inspires Jewish teens from all backgrounds with leadership training, core Jewish values, and community service so they can start contributing to the Jewish community and the world.
