What's Open, Closed Memorial Day 2021 In White Plains
The national holiday means a long weekend for some. How will you be spending it in White Plains?
WHITE PLAINS, NY — Monday, May 31 is Memorial Day. In observance of the holiday, most federal, state and local government offices are closed.
There will be no mail delivery. Many businesses are open but with different hours — so it's not a bad idea to check before heading out.
White Plains' Memorial Day Ceremony will be on Monday. The event begins at 11 a.m. and will be held at Deltofino Park on Lake Street. All attendees will be required to wear a mask. At this location, everyone will be able to socially distance and be outdoors while honoring our veterans. Ebersole Ice Rink, which is a covered outdoor area at Delfino Park, will be utilized in case of inclement weather.
