White Plains Passes 2020-21 School Budget
Voters mailed in their ballots this year due to the coronavirus outbreak.
WHITE PLAINS, NY — Voters in the White Plains school district overwhelmingly approved a $233 million budget for the 2020-21 school year. The unofficial count was 4,721 in favor and 926 against.
The proposition to spend $10 million for building improvements was also OK'd 4,863 to 748, according to unofficial results.
Two board members were running unopposed: Rosemarie Eller and Randy Stein.
