Isabella Panero of White Plains graduated from Champlain College on May 4. Panero received a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Restaurant Management.

William Burmeister was among nearly 900 St. Olaf College students who were recognized for academic achievement at the college's annual Honors Day convocation on May 3. Burmeister, from White Plains, is a Russian Area Studies and English major. In addition, he was awarded membership in Dobro Slovo. He is the son of William and Margit Burmeister.

SUNY Geneseo student Anna Tiburzi from White Plains was recently inducted into the Golden Key International Honour Society during an induction ceremony on campus. Juniors or seniors with a grade point average that places them in the top 15 percent of their class are eligible for membership.

Teddy Scott Stalbow from White Plains was awarded a MS degree in Accounting from the Harpur College of Arts and Sciences at Binghamton University.

Christian Mejia from White Plains was awarded a BA degree in Art Studio from the Harpur College of Arts and Sciences at Binghamton University.

Adina M. Lowy from White Plains was awarded a BA degree in Individualized Major Progam Humanities from the Harpur College of Arts and Sciences at Binghamton University.

Sam Goldman of West Harrison was a presenter at Union College's annual Steinmetz Symposium Day held Friday, May 10.

Goldman presented researched titled "Capitalism in Ancient Rome and Ancient Greece: Risk and Unethical Business Practices."

White Plains resident Karl-Gener Habana was among the more than 800 students who graduated from Bob Jones University earlier this month.

Habana graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Actuarial Science.
