White Plains Man Accused In Fatal Shooting
Deron Strange, 34, of White Plains, was shot shortly before midnight Wednesday.
WHITE PLAINS, NY — A White Plains man was accused of fatally shooting a 34-year-old man Wednesday. District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino Jr. said Brandon Williams, 25, of White Plains, was charged with second-degree murder, a felony.
He appeared Saturday in Westchester County Court Emergency Part via video conference. He was arraigned and remanded into custody and is scheduled to return to court June 4.
Prosecutors said Deron Strange, 34, of White Plains, was shot shortly before midnight at a housing complex on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in White Plains.

Strange died later at White Plains Hospital.
An investigation with the aid of the FBI Violent Felony Task Force led to the arrest of Williams Friday night at a hotel in Harrison. The investigation is ongoing.
