White Plains Public Library To Expand It's Hours Beginning July 1
Patrons are welcome to browse the first floor, make use of our information services, and borrow materials.

Effective July 1, we will be open our pre-pandemic hours: Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and 1-5 p.m. on Sunday.

Some seating has returned as well as public computing. To use our computers, you must make an appointment and have a card from a Westchester public library. To make an appointment, call (914) 422-1480.

The Trove is open for 45-minute appointments, three families at a time. Call (914) 422-1476 to schedule an appointment. You must have a White Plains library card to book a Trove visit. The Edge for teens is open Monday through Friday, 2-6 p.m. and 1-5 p.m. on Saturday.
All of our many programs will continue online, although the Trove is offering some storytime programs in the Library Plaza. Call the Trove for details (914) 422-1476.
Our newly renovated gallery is open, and we are featuring a show “Regeneration,” that looks at a future focused on climate justice. The exhibition includes drawing, collage, mixed media, photography, painting and poetry. Come visit!
The Friends Bookstore will be opening in early July.
We still require all visitors two-years-old and older to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
