White Plains OKs 2021-22 Budget

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Voters in the White Plains school district went to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to approve the school district's 2012-22 budget.

The $229.6 million budget was approved. The unofficial vote tally was 1,174 for to 165 against.

The budget decrease was 1.55 percent. The property tax levy was 1.23 percent.

Three trustee seats were up for election. The winning candidates were incumbents Cayne Letizia, James F. Hricay and Rose Lovitch. Raina Kadvil came in fourth.
