Woman Accused of Jewelry Theft at Sears

The following arrest information was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

A White Plains woman was charged with petty larceny outside of a White Plains Sears Friday after police say she pocketed a ring and pair of earrings and tried to walk out of the store.

Store security stopped the 32-year-old woman on her way out of the store at about 2:35 p.m. and found the items in her pocket, according to an arrest report. The earrings were valued at about $130, the ring was worth about $100.

Police transported the woman to police headquarters. She was later released on $250 bail.
