Woman Busted Swiping $500 Worth of Lingerie, Pajamas: Cops
White Plains resident faces petty larceny charges.

A 65-year-old White Plains woman was arrested by local cops after stealing nearly $500 worth of clothing, police said.
The woman—a Fifth Street resident—stashed seven pairs of socks, three pairs of pajama pants and eight pieces of lingerie in an empty shopping bag in Macy's last Friday at 6:19 p.m., police said.Â
Macy's staff stopped the woman and called police after she pilfered the items, which totaled $438.92, police said. The woman was soon after arrested and charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor.
