A 34-year-old White Plains woman was arrested last Thursday after cops caught her pilfering laxatives from the CVS at 24 Mamaroneck Avenue, police told Patch.
The Kensico Avenue resident stuffed one box of Dulcolax laxative and one box of Peri-Colace laxative into her purse at 8 a.m., and then tried to return the items at the customer service counter, police said.
The cashier carried out the transaction, and then employees held the woman until police arrived. The alleged thief was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor, and held for court.
