Nothing says October like German food and beer on a chilly fall weekend.
That's exactly what hundreds of people enjoyed during White Plains Oktoberfest Sunday along Mamaroneck Ave. The event, hosted by the White Plains Business Improvement District, featured live music and specialty food from The Iron Tomato.
For four hours, the annual event turns Mamaroneck Ave. from East Post Road to Maple Ave. into a haven for people ready to celebrate a local version of Oktoberfest.
