$1K Greenpoint Apartments Hit Housing Lottery

Find out if you qualify for a new one-bedroom apartment that costs about $1,000 per month.

GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN — A small batch of affordably priced apartments in Greenpoint hit the housing lottery this month, city records show.

Three one-bedroom apartments that go for about $1,000 per month are up for grabs at 977 Manhattan Ave. until the lottery closes on April 26, according to the NYC Housing Connect website.

The newly constructed units will cost $1,020 a month and are available to a single person who makes between $34,972 and $43,860 a year or couples who earn between $34,972 and $50,100 a year.

Building amenities include a laundry room, gym, bike room, according to the city website.

The apartment building is a three block walk from the G train station at Greenpoint Avenue.
