WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Visitors to McCarren Park will be able to enjoy at least five more years of free wifi, the Parks Department announced this week.

The service, provided by AT&T, has been running in multiple parks since 2011, according to the Parks Department, with visitors logging on 8.6 million times since then. (Here's a list of available wifi hot spots.)

In McCarren, coverage is available in the area around the Field House, located in the park's eastern portion between Leonard Street and Lorimer Street.
