Affordable Housing Lotteries Open Up In East Williamsburg
One-bedroom apartments going for a little over $1,000 at 89 Bartlett St. and several buildings around Devoe Street went up on the lottery.

WILLIAMSBURG, NY — Lotteries for dozens of one-bedroom apartments in several East Williamsburg buildings for a little over $1,000 a month started accepting application this week.
The affordable housing lotteries launched on Tuesday for apartments in the development at 89 Bartlett St. and four new buildings around Devoe Street and Metropolitan Avenue, city records show.
There's16 one-bedroom apartments available at 89 Bartlett St. for $1,080 a month for a single person making between $37,029 to $43,860 or two people making between $37,029 to $50,100, according to Housing Connect.

The other lottery has six apartments for $1,150 a month in 251 Devoe St., 253 Devoe St., 878 Metropolitan Ave. and 882 Metropolitan Ave., city records show. A single person making between $39,429 to $43,860 and two people making between $39,429 to $50,100 can apply.
Both lotteries are open until May 20 and people can apply online on the city's Housing Connect website or through the mail.
