Affordable Housing Lottery Opens For Renovated Warehouse Apartments in Williamsburg
The city launched an affordable housing lottery for two studios and eight one-bedrooms at 66 Ainslie Street in Williamsburg.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — There is a new affordable housing lottery for 10 units in an East Williamsburg converted warehouse on Ainslie Street, city records show.
The seven-story building at 66 Ainslie Street near Keap Street will have two studios and eight one-bedroom apartments up for grabs until the lottery closes on May 11, according to a new listing on the NYC Housing Connect website.
The studios are going for $833 per month and are reserved for people who make between $30,466 and $38,1000 per year. The one-bedrooms will run $895 per month and are going to applicants who make between $32,640 and $43,500 per year.

The building boasts laundry facilities, a roof deck, lounge, elevator, and doorman and is one block from the Metropolitan Avenue G train station, five blocks from the Bedford Avenue L station and nine blocks from the Hewes Street J and M train stations.
The developer, Slate Property Group, is behind at least five buildings in northern Brooklyn including 120 Union Ave., 21 Powers St., and 247 N. 7th St. in Williamsburg.
