Brooklyn Beer Series Celebrates Different NYC Borough Each Week

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Are you more of a Bronx beer fan or a Brooklyn brews kind of New Yorker? The Clinton Hall rooftop in Williamsburg hopes to help you find out.

A new series at the bar called "Borough Brews" will feature beer from a different outer borough each weekend this month.

The craft beer series will kick off this weekend, Sep. 6 and 7, with Coney Island Brewery and go through a Staten Island, Bronx and Queens beer-maker before the month is up. All the festivities will take place on the bar's new rooftop, which opened as the first solar-powered rooftop bar in the borough earlier this year.

Each beer will cost just $5 per can and can put tasters in the running for a free stay at the Pod Hotel should they be among the first five drinkers to arrive each weekend.

Where: Clinton Hall Rooftop Beer Garden, located atop Pod Brooklyn in Williamsburg

When: Every Saturday & Sunday throughout September 2019 (except Sep. 1)

What: Stop by Clinton Hall Rooftop and crack open $5 craft cans throughout September to earn stamps on your “Can Card.” The first 5 beer lovers to visit each weekend, collecting all 4 stamps on their Can Card, will win a complimentary one-night stay at Pod Brooklyn. Runners-up will be awarded a complimentary meal or complimentary drink at Clinton Hall.

How: Ask the bartender for your Can Card and try the weekend’s featured beer to receive your first stamp. Come back each weekend to try another beer from a different borough, earning another stamp. After receiving all four stamps, give your Can Card to the bartender to see if you’ve won a prize. *Excludes Friday & Saturday nights; blackout dates; subject to availability
