"Bully Shield" - Free Anti-Bullying Event - Saturday October 15th - Williamsburg @ 11:30 am

October is "Bully Prevention Month" and 40 Tiger Schulmann's Martial Arts Centers, including the Williamsburg location at 456 Grand Street, are hosting free 90 minute Bully Prevention workshops for kids age 7-12 called "Bully Shield" on Saturday October 15th. These seminars are a public service for Bully Prevention month and help both the "bullied and the bully" through a non-violent approach to the various stages of bullying and what to do to stop bullying before it escalates. This long standing program is a non-aggression solution to the bullying issue which keeps resurfacing, often with frightening consequences. Discussion topics include:
- What is a bully?
- The three stages of bullying
- Role play on how to diffuse a bullying situation without getting physical
