The woman caught the perpetrator with his cellphone camera under her skirt at the Metropolitan Avenue L subway station, police say.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — A 32-year-old woman caught a man taking up-skirt pictures of her in Williamsburg, said the New York City Police Department (NYPD).

The creepy "unlawful surveillance" happened at the Lorimer Street L subway station on Aug. 8, at 4:40 p.m. when the victim "felt the male's cellphone touch the back of her right leg" as she walked up the stairs to the Manhattan-bound L train platform, police said.

After getting caught in the act, police said the suspect fled down the stairs to the southbound L train platform boarding a Canarsie/Rockaway Parkway-bound train. The woman was physically unharmed, according to the NYPD.
