Dead Body Found on Williamsburg Bridge
Police are investigating the death of a young man found on the Williamsburg Bridge Tuesday morning.
WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Authorities discovered a man's body on the outer roadway of the Brooklyn-bound Williamsburg Bridge Tuesday morning and are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death. Police reported that the victim, a 31-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene, had injuries indicating that he had fallen from a great height at the location.
The Daily News reported the man was an Austrian tourist who was still dressed in his Halloween costume from Monday night.

Police were unsure if he had fallen or jumped. Reports stated that the victim was found at around 5:30 a.m.
Photos from the scene showed the victim draped in a white sheet on the bridge.

The bridge's walkway was closed on Tuesday morning as police conducted their investigation, a police spokesman said.
