Developer Buying Giant Site On Greenpoint Waterfront, Report Says
Yoel Goldman plans to buy a 10-parcel contaminated lot along the waterfront for more than $55 million, the Real Deal reported.

GREENPOINT, NY — A developer plans to buy a former plastic factory along Greenpoint's waterfront to clean up the site and build a residential complex in its place, the Real Deal reported.
All Year Management, owned by Yoel Goldman, is in contract to buy the 335,000-square-foot site around Clay, Franklin and Dupont streets for more than $55 million, the website reported.
The lot — at 22-36 Clay St., 280 Franklin St. and 49-93 Dupont St. — will get an environmental cleanup by Goldman before his company builds a complex with two or more buildings, the Real Deal reported.

The site was the home of plastic factories in the 1940s and 1950s then later was used by the NuHart Company to make vinyl siding and sheeting, DNAinfo reported.
It shut down in 2005 but was designated a Superfund site in 2010 after tests found phthalates and trichloroethylene left over in the soil and groundwater, according to the website.
