Dog-Theme Pop-Up Brings Puppy Corn Maze, Canine Makeovers To BK
Thousands of dogs will descend on Williamsburg this month for everything from puppy ice cream sundaes, to a Halloween dog parade.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — A pop-up in Williamsburg is promising to give the puppies of New York City the "Best Dog Day Ever" with a month of canine makeovers, ice cream sundaes and Halloween parades.
The Dodo, a media company focused on content for "animal people," is hosting the pop-up for the entire month of October. The month-long event is an extended version of the one-day pop-up Dodo hosted last year, which brought more than 1,400 dogs and their owners to Brookfield Place in Manhattan.
This time, the "Best Dog Day Ever: Halloween Edition" will take over the Williamsburg office building at 25 Kent Ave. and could bring as many as 10,000 pups to the neighborhood.

“The Dodo has built its reputation by putting animals first in our video series so it only makes sense to extend that philosophy into live experiences with ‘Best Dog Day Ever,’" Dodo President YuJung Kim said. “We noticed more and more people want to celebrate Halloween with their dogs, and there weren’t many dog-first options in the New York area. Why not create the perfect, spooky, fall day for owners to bond with their pups?”
The dog-themed activities include everything from a puppy-sized corn maze, to a 1950s malt shoppe specifically made to dole out dog ice cream sundaes. Humans can enjoy their own ice cream and other treats throughout the pop-up.

Pups can also get ready for a Halloween dog parade with free makeovers at a "Dyson Transformation Lab" and a 180-degree photo booth with costumes to try on put together by Target.
The pop-up will also have adoptable dogs in a "happiest haunted house" area in the backyard of the building that visitors can come play with and potentially bring home.
Tickets for the event are $35 per person-puppy duo and will buy two hours in the pop-up.
