
Trump Golf Links Ferry Point, Donald Trump’s golf course in the Bronx, had a fire Friday afternoon.
The New York City Fire Department reported on Twitter a brush fire on Schley Avenue, a small road near the entrance to the course, at 1:24 p.m. local time.
Nineteen minutes later, FDNY tweeted the fire was “under control.”

An FDNY spokesman told Patch that it was a small fire put out by one engine. The cause is unknown at this time.
A description of the golf course online, styled as a letter to “Golfing Enthusiast,” describes the course as “one of the top public golf courses anywhere in the world!”
