Launched in the Fall of 2015 with help from the Greenpoint Community Environmental Fund, Greening Greenpoint is a three-year project aimed at developing a local urban forestry plan for the neighborhood and training residents to "increase tree canopy cover and promote healthy, long-lived trees to increase the environmental benefits that trees offer."
