BROOKLYN, NY — Do you live anywhere along the G line between the Bedford-Nostrand stop in Bed-Stuy and the Court Square station in Queens? Do you have a duty (or a habit) of working (or drinking) late in the city on weeknights?
If so, then you should know: The G train is not your friend this week. Or next week, for that matter.
All G stops between Bedford-Nostrand and Court Square will be closed between 10:45 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night this week, from Monday, Feb. 27 through Friday, March 3, and next week, from Monday, March 6 through Friday, March 10, according to the MTA.

In other words, the entire northern half of the G line will be unusable on weeknights until the middle of March.
As a small consolation, "free shuttle buses provide alternate service," the MTA says on its website. "Buses make all station stops between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Court Sq."
