How Perfect Is This Brooklyn Subway Hanukkah Card
Designed by local artist Cheryl Berkowitz.

A Brooklyn subway-themed Hanukkah card designed by local artist Cheryl Berkowitz a few years back is lighting up social media once again this holiday season.
The card is a re-imagining of the subway lines in Downtown Brooklyn, arranged to create the ultimate urban menorah.
The New York City Transit Museum, also located in Downtown Brooklyn, shared an image of Berkowitz’ card on its Facebook page over the weekend.
Within 24 hours, the image had been re-shared by more than 6,000 people.
We called the museum to find out where the card could be purchased.
Unfortunately, museum spokeswoman Chelsea Newburg said, “We currently are not selling it in our store.”
“We’re speaking to the designer of the card to see if that’s possible,” she said. “But it might not be until next year.”
Various other vendors have sold the card in years past, but all those we found online list the card as “out of stock.”
Patch has contacted the artist herself for more info on her inspiration, her design process and her plans, if any, of re-stocking this little slice of genius so we can all share the love. We’ll let you know if we hear back.
