L Train Shutdown Workshop Cancelled Due To Snow Storm
The meeting that was scheduled for Thursday night is now postponed. The next planned meeting is in Williamsburg on Feb. 16.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — The first L train shutdown public input workshop scheduled for Thursday night in the East Village has been postponed due to the snow storm, the MTA announced. It will be rescheduled at a later date.
The next workshop scheduled takes place on Feb. 16 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Williamsburg's High School for Architecture & Design at 257 North 6th St.
The impending 18-month L train closure is happening January 2019, and the MTA wants to hear your opinions on how you prefer to travel while it's closed. The MTA will hold four workshops in the next month in neighborhoods affected by the L train shutdown to hear community feedback, so mark your calendars.
At the workshops, MTA and Department of Transportation officials will be offering information that residents want to know and asking about alternate travel preferences. You can also ask them about accessibility issues, impacts of construction and other service-related changes on the subway and bus during the shutdown.
