L Train Shutdown Planners Want Your Feedback
The MTA is holding four workshops in the next month for neighborhoods affected by the L train closure in Jan. 2019. Here's where and when.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — The impending 18-month L train closure is happening January 2019, and the MTA wants to hear your opinions on how you prefer to travel while it's closed. The MTA will hold four workshops in the next month in neighborhoods affected by the L train shutdown to hear community feedback, so mark your calendars.
At the workshops, MTA and Department of Transportation officials will be offering information residents want to know and asking about alternate travel preferences. You can also ask them about accessibility issues, impacts of construction and other service-related changes on the subway and bus during the shutdown.
