Legendary Di Fara Pizzeria Headed Toward Williamsburg: Report

The famous Midwood pizzeria will have an outpost in a new Williamsburg food hall opening this September.

WILLIAMSBURG — The iconic Brooklyn pizzeria Di Fara will soon have a Williamsburg outpost, according to an Eater report.

When the food hall North Third Street Market opens this September, it will include a 290-square-foot Di Fara pizzeria with the same menu as the original Midwood location, a MRKTPL spokesperson told Eater.

Di Fara in Midwood is best known for the skills of owner and legendary pizzaiolo Dom DeMarco, whose handy worker has had people lining up since the restaurant opened in 1964.

The 15,000-square-foot marketplace going up on North Third Street between Berry and Wythe avenues is coming from MRKTPL and will host permanent and pop-up vendors, Eater reported.
