Man Attacked With His Own Cane In Williamsburg Fight, Cops Say

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for a man who used a 56-year-old's own cane to beat him after the two got into a fight outside a Grand Street supermarket.

The two men, caught on video outside 785 Grand St., got into a fight around 11:40 a.m. on Monday, July 22 on the sidewalk in front of the grocery store, Bravo Supermarkets. During the fight, the man police are now looking for took the 56-year-old man's cane and used it to beat him.

The 56-year-old was sent to the hospital for his injuries and swelling.

The man police are looking for has brown eyes and black hair, police said.
