GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN — A new mixed-income housing development in Greenpoint is now taking applications to live in a handful of studio apartments for as low as $494 per month.
Applications for units in the building, located at 33 Eagle Street, are due by May 16.

You can submit an application online using the city’s Housing Connect website. The forms can also be requested by mailing a self-addressed envelope to: E3 Owner LLC/33 Eagle St. Apts., Morningside Station, PO Box 1585, New York, NY 10026.

- 3 studios at $494 per month for single individuals making between $18,275 and $24,200 annually
- 11 studios at $788 per month for single individuals making between $28,355 and $36,300 annually
- 12 one-bedroom units for single individuals making between $30,412 and $36,300 annually, or for two people collectively making between $30,412 and $41,460 annually
- 25 two-bedroom units for two, three, or four people collectively making between $36,549 and $51,780 annually
The building’s amenities include a laundry room, a bicycle room and a fitness center. Five percent of the units will be held for those with mobility-related disabilities, while 2 percent will go to applicants with hearing or vision impairments. Fifty percent of the apartments will go to residents of Brooklyn’s Community Board 1. Another 5 percent will be reserved for municipal employees.
