New York City Will Be Annoyingly Cold This Weekend
"Unseasonably cold," meteorologists say.

It was fun pretending we were living out the L.A. autumn of our dreams for the past month and a half, but alas, come Saturday morning, New York City is back to its usual self, y’all.
Temperatures have been averaging 5 degrees Fahrenheit above normal since Sept. 1, according to AccuWeather meteorologist Alex Sosnowski.

This weekend, in contrast, will bring “the chilliest air since April,” he predicts.
Temperatures are expected to drop to the mid 50s on Saturday and the low 50s on Sunday, with nighttime lows in the mid 30s.

And according to AccuWeather, temperatures during the daylight hours will feel more like the 40s.
Areas surrounding the city could get some frost over the weekend, and even some snow. “While snowflakes are unlikely in the city, south and east,” Sosnowski reports, “people heading westward and northward to check out the foliage may see some snowflakes and perhaps enough snow to whiten the landscape.”
Chin up, though: The weather gods will take pity on us again by the middle of next week, when highs are expected to be back in the upper 60s.
