One Bedford Cafe Opens To Serve Gourmet Pastries, Espresso In Greenpoint
The new cafe also has late-night bistro fare for those who are missing Nights and Weekends, the former venue in the building.

GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN —The triangular property between Bedford and Nassau avenues just north of McCarren Park that used to be Nights and Weekends this week reopened as a cafe called One Bedford.
One Bedford, which calls its property a "flatiron in Greenpoint," is serving Italian pastries, espresso by Devocion and late-night bistro fare. The press release featured a close-up of a croissant topped with pink frosting and filled with mascarpone cheese.
Alexandra Siwiec, who was the owner of Nights and Weekends, owns the new cafe, which features dishes and cocktails inspired by her travels through Europe. Siwiec also owns The Good Room in Greenpoint and is opening The Gentry, around the corner from One Bedford.
