Pasta Eatery Misi To Open In Williamsburg This Month
Lilia chef Missy Robbins will open her almost all-pasta restaurant at the Domino Sugar Refinery site in September.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Renowned Williamsburg chef Missy Robbins is opening her all-primi eatery at the Domino Sugar Refinery site this month.
Misi — an Italian take on the chef's first name — is slated open on the ground floor of 329 Kent Ave. this weekend, Grub Street was first to report.
Robbins, a chef who has garnered numerous accolades for her first Williamsburg restaurant Lilia, told Grub Street she envisioned Misi as a more casual dining option for Brooklynites seriously in search of carbs.

“My dream,” Robbins told Grub Street, “is for locals to stop in for a beer and a bowl of pasta at 4 p.m. and be on their merry way.”
The menu will focus on vegetables and pasta fatto a mano, made fresh in house, according to hypnotic video posted on Instagram.

There will be 10 pastas and 10 vegetable dishes on the menu, and off-menu entrees for people who looking for something more, according to a New York Times report.
Dessert will be gelato and drinks are Italian wines, and cocktails, such as an Americano with Campari and beer, Robbins told Grub Street.
