The Shins Post Surprise Ticket Lottery For Concert In Williamsburg
Lottery winners will get to be part of a celebration of The Shins' new album, "Heartworms," at Music Hall of Williamsburg.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — The classic indie band from New Mexico, The Shins, posted a surprise online lottery for fans to see them in a small, intimate gathering in Williamsburg where they will be talking about their new, soon-to-be-released album. The "up close and personal" celebration of the release of the new album, called Heartworms, will take place on March 15 at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn for "an intimate gathering of lucky fans," according to the online lottery page.
You can enter on this Google Doc form for a chance to buy tickets on Tuesday, March 7 at 12 p.m. Randomly selected fans will get a unique code to purchase two tickets on Tuesday. Winners of the lottery will have 24 hours to purchase two tickets, and the show is limited to just two tickets per name.
Heartworms, set to be released on March 10, will be The Shins' first new album in five years. You can listen to one of the songs, "Painting a Hole," here.
