Third Annual Greenpoint Arts Block Festival to Celebrate Polish Art and Culture
The third annual Greenpoint Arts Block Festival, a Greenpoint celebration of Polish art and culture, will take place Sep. 17.

GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN — Now in its third year, the Greenpoint Arts Block Festival seeks to gather the local Polish community of residents and artists along with newcomers to the neighborhood.
The festival takes place Saturday Sep. 17, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Leonard Street between Norman and Meserole Avenue.
The event is a partnership between the Culture Shock Foundation and the Brooklyn Public Library, with additional support from the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York.

According to festival organizers, this year will offer "cultural, educational, and recreational events with the goal of promoting Polish and local artists, highlighting the Polish identity of Greenpoint, and integrating its old and new inhabitants."
Organizers are planning on the following activities:
