Unofficial Williamsburg Apple Store May be Hiring

The project, located at 247 Bedford Ave., has been rumored for years, but never officially confirmed by the computer giant.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Williamsburg's as-yet unofficial Apple store may be hiring.

The long-rumored (and at times doubted) project, reportedly located at 247 Bedford Ave., has never been announced by Apple.

On Friday, Nanci Hom, a spokeswoman for Waterbridge Capital, confirmed that Waterbridge owns the property along with RedSky Capital. But she said she couldn't comment on whether Apple is moving in.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, the eagle-eyed Apple aficionados at MacRumors reported that the computer maker's website had just listed a slate of job openings in Brooklyn (though they're not linked to a particular location).
