WATCH: Angry Cyclist Dodges 'Morons' in Brooklyn Bridge Bike Lane
"Oh, I made it to Manhattan with no casualties. Beautiful."

There’s something almost cathartic about riding across the Brooklyn Bridge atop the helmet of Jahv, self-proclaimed ”NYC Bicycle Vlogger,” as he cusses out every tourist and Sunday stroller and goob with a selfie stick who happens to drift into the bike lane. It’s everything we ever wanted to say to the pedestrian clog mob, but couldn’t have, or shouldn’t have, or both.
Even a bride on her wedding day, her train billowing into the bike lane, isn’t immune to the wrath of Jahv.
“You’re getting married on the bridge?” he asks. ”You don’t have to get in my way, though.”
Below, some more highlights from the monologue.
- “There’s so much bull*** on this bridge. Why can’t it just be a bridge [where] people cross it like any other bridge, and keep it movin’?”
- “This bridge is so much harder than it needs to be. I should get a piece of cheese every time I complete this bridge.”
- “It’s just on the wooden part that it gets so crazy, you know. ... The wooden portion is just off the hook.”
- “Oh, I made it to Manhattan with no casualties. Beautiful.”
We’ve reached out to Jahv to clarify how many parts parody versus how many parts sincerity we’re working with here. But either way, it’s been a therapeutic ride. Thanks for that, Jahv, and safe travels.
