VIDEO: Williamsburg Apartment Robbed By Man Wearing Night Goggles
A man entered a Maujer Street apartment's laundry room wearing night goggles and stole $900 in cash and a TV, cops said.
WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — A man who robbed a laundry room of a Williamsburg apartment in the middle of the night, wearing night vision goggles, is still on the loose, police said. On Saturday, Jan. 28 at around 4:52 a.m., the man entered the front door of a Maujer Street apartment and went into the laundry room, where he took a TV, a change machine that had $600 in cash and $300 in additional cash, according to the NYPD.
Cops released surveillance video of the scene and are asking anyone with information to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
