WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Williamsburg's long-awaited Whole Foods will be opening at 9 a.m. on July 26, the company announced this weekend.

The 51,000 square foot market, located at 238 Bedford Ave., will also carry the wares to two New York City staples, according to a Whole Foods spokeswoman.

Roberta's bakery, based in East Williamsburg, will be selling baked goods at the store, such as sticky buns and sunflower spelt loafs. And Luke's Lobster will operate a Tail Cart featuring "sustainably-sourced" and "traceable" lobster tails.

Plans for the market were first reported in 2012. Whole Foods will be sharing the property with other major companies, including WeWork.
