670-Square-Foot House: $1.25 Million
Just when you thought the Brooklyn bubble couldn't get bigger.

Brooklyn — and the Internet — is going mad about the asking price for this mini-home at 658 Vanderbilt Avenue in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn.
The sellers want $1.25 million for the 670-square-foot unit, the New York Post points out this morning.
“I’m shocked. It’s pretty crazy,” a Windsor Terrace neighbor tells the Post. “The floors are slanted. It’s going to need some repairs.”

But the real-estate broker assigned to the house, Barbara Puccia, seems to think it’s a steal. On her website, she describes the property as a ”a little piece of paradise.. situated on one of Windsor Terrace’s premier, beautiful, quiet, tree lined streets just steps to Prospect Park.”
And inside the house, the buyer will find ”original oak wood floors throughout, three nicely sized bedrooms, a living room with vaulted ceilings and a skylight and an eat in kitchen.”

But Puccia isn’t telling herself any lies about the real value behind the sale. ”This house can be taken down and built 3 floors high!” she advertises.
The broker tells the Post that the home’s current owner, Heather Baley, paid only $150,000 when she bought it in 1989.
