72nd Precinct Holds National Night Out
The annual event will take place on Tuesday in Greenwood Playground.

On Tuesday, local police and residents will join forces to celebrate safety the fun way with National Night Out.Â
In addition to educating the public about crime prevention, this year's festivities—to be held in Greenwood Playground—will feature live music, a DJ set, free food and drinks and even tastings from local restaurants.
On the safety side, participants will have the opportunity to listen to lectures from FBI and EMS members.Â

National Night Out is an annual event held around the country to raise awareness of crime and drug prevention initiatives and encourage participation in local law enforcement.
The event will kick off at 4 p.m. at Greenwood Playground, located on the corner of East 5th Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway.Â
