'Affordable' Flatbush Apartments Require $70K Income

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — A half dozen Flatbush apartment hit the affordable housing market this week, but are only available to people earning roughly $70,000 a year or more, city records show.

The six one-bedrooms at 3206-3208 Glenwood Road, near East 32nd Street, became available on the NYC Housing Connect website Tuesday, city records show.

The units — three listed at 3206 Glenwood and three at 3208 Glenwood — will cost $1,999 a month and are only available to single New Yorkers with annual incomes between $68,538 and $97,110 or pairs earning between $68,538 and $111,020.

Building amenities include a pay-to-use laundry room, rooftop terrace, rear yard access and virtual doorman.

Qualifying New Yorkers have until July 1 to apply.
